“Exactly what I wanted, I disliked having to toggle back and forth on the regular envelope follower (because I’d have to place it on the track that I wanted to track the envelope to, so I had to constantly back and forth between the track triggering the automation and the track I’m automating as I dial in the settings… it was tedious). This plugin having the side-chain option is worth the price of omission to me, plus more options like eq make it great. Would be cool to get a visual eq panel to see where I’m focusing the eq to trigger the env follower but I’m super happy with it.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the devices in previous Ableton versions?

Envex v2 and the new midi devices are only compatible with Live 12.

BasEQ, Haze Delay and the other devices work fine with Live 10+.

I want to test the devices, is there any way to get a demo?

Unfortunately I dont offer a demo, but unlike other overpriced devices you get more than you pay for. I designed those devices for myself and to speed up always recurring tasks. I bet they will help you too 😉

I never heard of you, who are you?

I am Alex, aka Maestro72 aka Impulsound, founder of Liquidbeats. Based near Stuttgart, Germany. Im 34 years and music producer since 2008. I love making music and working with artists on songs.

I am a live user since 2009 and know everything in this program in and out. Why i am not certified? Well, I like doing music, not teach it 😀

Over time i got into max4live and developed simple devices that help me get the results i want faster. For example BaseQ is an eq with the most important frequencies in any mix. Wether Boomy, boxy, walmart sound, with BasEQ you can tweak these most used frequncies fast and move on.

KickEQ is specialized for kick frequencies. Drop it on your kick track, tweak it and move on. Creativity gets killed by complexity. so having most simple tools is essential to stay in groove.

There are more devices but the main goal is always to make things easier.
